MCC Austin at Freedom Oaks announces the opening of classes under auspices of WOW U., a without-walls university committed to offering courses, workshops, lectures, and retreats to encourage and facilitate the spiritual and emotional growth of our members and our community in order to fully embrace all of life's potential.

Pray Out Loud
A four-week course led by Rev. Karen in Austin's beautiful Zilker Park. Learn how to pray joyfully and unceasingly out loud! Tuesday @ 7:15
On the Road with Jesus
A five-week course meeting Sunday afternoon at 1:30 PM examining the ministry of Jesus as found in Biblical stories of Jesus' travels. This will be a unique way to learn about the diverse experiences of Jesus as he ministered and taught in the wide-open highways and byways of the Holy Land. This class will be led by Lori Gainer and held at MCCA.
The I of the Storm
A four-week course meeting on Monday evenings 7:15 PM at MCC Austin led by Nick Patras. The course will focus on the nature of conflict in our personal and professional lives and how we can find peace and calm by going deep within ourselves. the course will involve exercises, small group discussion and the latest in conflict resolution material.
